The importance and value of keeping active came about when Samantha began to experience weight gain during the initial years of her working life. Motivated by the frustration from not being able to fit into clothes and concerns from developing health complications, she embarked on a weight loss journey through self-experimentation and lifestyle modifications. Within a year, she has lost 13kg through proper diet (she’s not a fan of trashy crash diets and starving herself to lose weight) and regular exercise and has even reversed the figures on her blood test results. She strongly believes that one should take ownership of their health and finds purpose and meaning in sharing her knowledge and experience with those who are serious in achieving their weight loss goals. Samantha is a holistic personal trainer that  enjoys a mix of kick boxing, weight training, tennis and water sports including swimming, canoeing and dragon boating.
